Client for Oculus Quest (App Lab)

We’re not yet officially available on App Lab,  we can however invite you to our preview channel – this is currently the easiest way to install Connec2 on your consumer Oculus Quest. With App Lab you will also be able to receive over-the-air updates!

In order to send an invite for this preview channel we will need the email address associated to the Oculus account you use for your Oculus Quest. This is the email address you used to login to the Oculus companion app on your phone, when initially setting up your Oculus Quest.

Not sure what the email address of your Oculus account is? Open the Oculus companion app on your phone > click on ‘Settings’ [1] > look at the email address that is listed under your name [2]

Once you have received confirmation that you have been added to our preview channel, you can follow the following steps:

  1. Go to the following URL on your PC/laptop: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/3581490358552901/
  2. If you get a 404 / Whoops! Error message: log in using your Oculus account (in most cases this is your Facebook account, since Oculus is owned by Facebook) and try clicking it again
  3. You should now see our product page on App Lab (see above image)
  4. After clicking on the pop-up look for a blue ‘buy’ button and ‘purchase’ our free app
  5. As soon as you’ve done this: put on your Oculus Quest with the associated Oculus account and our app should now be listed in your App Library: click on it to install Connec2!
  6. When you launch Connec2 after finished installing it, you’ll be presented with 3 login fields: use the corresponding Connec2 credentials you received from your Connec2 contact person
